The 3,300-acre Sunriver Resort—surrounded by mountains, meadows, and pines—is located in Central Oregon, on the dry side of the Cascade Mountains. Bend’s restaurants, shops, and theaters are located 15 miles from the resort. Mt. Bachelor is 18 miles away.

The resort offers 35 miles of paved paths for walking and biking; its on-site bike barn has 400 rental bikes. Guests have exclusive access to the Crosswater Club for golfing and dining, and access to indoor and outdoor tennis courts (surcharges apply). Four pools includes one for children, and an indoor lap pool with adjacent spa tub. Resort guests receive advanced tee times for all three golf courses, discounts on resort-owned recreation, and complimentary 24-hour transportation throughout the resort. Additional recreation opportunities at the resort include a marina, a nature center and observatory, and a horse stable.

The health club and spa includes a fitness facility with a movement studio, strength circuit, and numerous cardio machines. Classes and personal training sessions are available (surcharge). The spa offers massages, body treatments, nail care, and salon services (surcharges).

A supervised children’s program (ages 3–10) is offered in an activities center with computer stations, a 42-inch flat-screen TV, and a 3,400 square-foot fenced outdoor play area with teepees and other structures (surcharges; reservations required). A separate building houses arcade games and craft tables for teens.

In addition to 47,000 square feet of conference and event facilities, the resort provides a concierge and a staffed business center with one workstation, one laptop station, and faxing, shipping, and copying services (surcharges). Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in the four restaurants, the lounge, and public areas of the Sunriver Lodge building.

Complimentary outdoor valet parking, self-parking and 24-hour resort-wide transportation are provided. Airport and area transportation is available by reservation (surcharges apply).

Rooms

The Sunriver Resort offers guestrooms in either the River Lodges building or in 23 two-story buildings in the Lodge Village. Lodge Village and River Lodges guestrooms have furnished balconies or patios, stone gas fireplaces, complimentary high-speed Internet access, and cable TV with pay movies. All are nonsmoking.

The 350 condominiums and townhouses are individually decorated and have 2–6 bedrooms; fireplaces; full kitchens with microwaves, refrigerators, and dishware; cable TV; stereos; furnished patios or balconies; and washer/dryers. All are nonsmoking. Note: A few condos do not have air conditioning.

• Exit airport and follow signs on access road heading towards Bend.
• Drive underneath highway overpass and left onto entrance ramp for US 97 Southbound.
• Continue on US 97 southbound.
• Drive through Bend and continue for approximately 15 miles from southernmost Bend City limits to flashing yellow light and turn west to Sunriver.
• At large Sunriver sign, bear right and follow signs to Sunriver Resort.

Portland International Airport (PDX): Approximate driving time is 3.5 hours and distance is 176 miles.

Driving directions from Portland International Airport:

• Take I-205 S to I-94 E.
• Take Exit 16 (Woodland Village) southbound toward Gresham.
• Merge onto US 26 E. Continue on US 26 E approximately 101 miles to Madras, where US 26 merges with US 97 S.
• Continue on US 97 S approximately 50 miles through Redmond and Bend.
• From Bend’s southernmost city limits, continue approximately 15 miles.
• At flashing yellow light, turn west to Sunriver. At large "Sunriver" sign, bear right and follow signs to Sunriver Resort.

Getting there: The resort offers airport shuttle service by reservation only. Fare is $50 for the first person and $18 per additional passenger. (Prices subject to change.) In most cases, a rental car is the most efficient way to reach the resort. Rental cars are available online.

Getting around: Courtesy shuttle service is offered throughout the resort facilities. Transportation to area attractions is also available (surcharge). Most guests use cars while in this area.

Policies

A $75 nonrefundable fee is charged for pets. A limited number of hotel rooms accommodate pets.
